Xtreme victory

The U11 Girls Bronze Mustang Xtreme Soccer Team won the California Youth Soccer Association Northern California Cup at the Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville on Sunday, Jan. 25. Mustang Xtreme beat the Folsom Attack, 1-0, in overtime with the winning goal made by Daniela Paradiso. The CYSA Northern Cal Cup had 28 of the best teams from Northern California vying for the crown.

Mustang Xtreme finished its regular season as well as the championships undefeated. During the regular season and championship cup playoffs, the Xtreme won 19 games and tied one. The team scored 60 goals and only gave up six goals during the undefeated season.

Team members are Coach Dave Patterson, Aubrey Martinez, Samantha Levy, Erin Nash, Katie Parker, Makenna Smith, Katie Patterson Daniela Paradiso, Rebecca Silverman, Coach Don Fornasier, Carina Pineda, Joelle Fornasier, Jessica Lateur, Julia Espino, Elise Ericson, Sara Walker, Megan McCabe and Kathryn LaBarbera.
