680 water polo team to nationals

The 680 Drivers Boys eighth-grade water polo team qualified first at the Pacific Zone Qualifier for the 07 Speedo Cup hosted by the U.S. Water Polo Association, beating Stanford, Lamorinda and Marin to go a perfect 3 and 0 to earn the coveted invitation.

On Nov. 8, the team traveled to Columbia, Mo., to compete in the 07 Speedo Cup comprised of the top 12 teams 14-and-under in the nation.

Team members are Chris Swenson, Colin Chiapello, Tucker Angelo, Tyler Martin, Samuel Yorke, (top) Coach Mundy, John Speros, Justin Riele, Nicholas Pasichuke, Riley Kalbus, Justin Roberto, Nicholas Candau and John Keane.
