The Pioneer Art Gallery is amazing. I love to come in there and see what's up with those guys.
A great place to get inspiration and great art for less. I have gone out in the roof to see Phil's art work. The logos he invented are better than the real ones. I would love to see someone donate some money for a good cause.

The Pioneer Art Gallery is an amazing space and even though it changes every 6 weeks, the quality and variety of art on display constantly amazes me. When I help scape off a few windows and paint a few walls last year I never imagined either that it would go this far or be this good. All we now is for the community to learn more about how to use gallery and "be" with the artists who have created this expression of Danville and Alamo area aesthetics. We would love to have a hundred new members!

Have gotten a great response from locals on your wonderful article about the Pioneer Art Gallery and my piece "Jesus of Danville". I'm thinking of making it into 'the worlds largest Christmas card' and adding the words "Merry Christmass" on it in coloured plywood letters. Few people have noticed that I'm actually in the photo (laying on the peace sign - to give it a sense of scale). I'm trying to get a helicopter photo as the fire department won't come back out to take another photo using the 100 foot ladder. Bummer. Help! I've added a lot more stuff and will be adding more hopefully before they take the building down. Am trying to get churches all over the world to do one on their property too, so where ever you go on Google Earth, you see Jesus, aka Roof Jesus, Asphalt Jesus, Jesus of Danville, and now First Jesus.
