Well, (no pun intended) that explains the water going down the street that I pointed out in another part of the Town Square Forum.
Kudos to Geoff for a creative photograph of an ordinarily non-photogenic story.

Water, water everywhere?

What is going on with the seemingly unending stream of water flowing down Hartz Ave? It seems to start around the Podva House and flows north until it eventually goes "down the drain."
Can I scoop up some of this water for my garden?

As Triogenes seeks a scoop of water, let me share a unique reality. In the Alamo region, the shallow irrigation wells have water levels at <8 feet below the surface with some overflowing. As a result, many homes in the region with foundations carved into the hillsides or with various underground facilities have to use pumps to keep the water table from flooding their sub-surface areas.
It might be appropriate warning to share that such water is only for irrigation due to the various contaminants entering the shallow water strata from horse corrals, building sites and residential fertilization. Watering a vegetable garden using such water should be carefully considered.

Thanks for pointing it out Triogenes. And appreciate the comment on the pic. I had fun taking it and really enjoy it.
