Are you kidding me? Google Street View shows 60 Linda Ct as a cul-de-sac with a small iron fence. Those fences rust and need improvement or replacement from time to time, and we're going to allow a vindictive neighbor to prevent someone from improving their own property? For shame.
People should be allowed to do what they like with their own property. I hope the Town of Danville stands by their earlier approval.

People should be allowed to do what they want to a point. What about a neighbor who wants to build a massive addition on a small lot, or a neighbor who wants to build a play structure that is so huge you can see from the street and the neighbors yard next door, or the neighbor who puts a huge boat on the side of their house so that the next door neighbor has to look at it all the time, or the neighbor who puts up a shed on the side that you can see from the street and yard. There are building codes and restrictions in cities because they are necessary in close communities. If you live in rural areas these are not enforced and people can put trailers and vehicles in their front yards too or have ongoing garage sales.

The people on Linda Court should be more concerned with the house on the corner...the Howard house, which has been a major eyesore for at least 20 years. The house and yard are a dump with half a dozen non-op cars in the front yard and piles of junk everywhere...probably full of rats etc. I'm pretty sure it is a major health hazard and yet despite numerous complaints to the city of Danville by many in the Montair neighborhood the situation continues to be ignored.
