Community Communications: what should happen?

This morning, e-exchanges in our region are discussing methods of improving community communications among governments, government-allied groups, neighborhoods, business districts and community groups. The focus is how do communities establish interactive discussions among such groups and create some in-common direction going forward. Clearly, our neighbors do not think current formal meeting methods are working due to the "one-way street" approach of citizens' presentations of 3 minutes or less without response from boards, commissions, councils, committees and taskforces.
Let us engage your commentators and ask for their improvements for community communication.

The 3 minutes are for keeping people like you from ranting and raving incoherently as you repeatedly do on this forum... It's bad enough we have to hear your frenzied comments day in and day out on this site. You ought to thank the Danville Express for being so patient. I would love to see a "Alamo Express" start up so you could offer your opinions there. And hey, based on your multi-personalities, not knowing who you are gonna be from day to day (i.e. Hal Bailey, Rolf in Ralph N. Shirlet,Just plain Hal, SeediestEYE, CDSI Research Fellowship, Oxymoron or whatever you wake up that particular morning as) would make it all that more interesting for the ALAMO community..

Now that Gina has tried to change the subject away from community communication through the 35th pseudonym to be employed, let's make sure we ask if there is further commentary on community communication.
