REFERENCE: Web Link, "BART Director Joel Keller is taking a serious look at challenging Contra Costa Supervisor Mary Nejedly Piepho in District 3."
Diablo Vista region neighborhoods, in support of Diablo, Blackhawk and Tassajara Valley voters in Contra Costa County District 3, are planning outreach to Joel Keller via regional audit teams to encourage a competitive campaign against the re-election of Mary N. Piepho as District 3 supervisor. A regional forum meeting planned in Blackhawk will invite Mr. Keller to present his interests in being district 3 supervisor and how he will engage communities and neighborhoods in his representation of district 3 residents.
How does your readership in Diablo, Blackhawk and Tassajara Valley feel about a competitive choice for district 3 supervisor?

Joel Keller would be an excellent candidate and far exceed positive results for District III residents than any other past seven years. I would fully support his candidacy. I hope everyone in District III and beyond encourages Joel to run. Who knows we could even end up finally getting BART to far east county. Come on Joel let's do this for betterment of Contra Costa County.

District 3 neighborhoods have been contacting CDSI Research member information (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get background on Joel Keller, Web Link.
I have just left a message for Joel at his home asking that he read this exchange on the Express Forum Web Link and post a contact e-address so communities and neighborhoods in District 3 can illustrate support for a well-educated and experienced candidate for District 3 supervisor.
It would be a courtesy to your readers to profile Joel in the same manner as Candace Andersen so voters can express support for his candidacy.

Are we talking about the same Joel Keller that has been on the troubled BART board for almost 30 years and who has completely failed to bring BART to his home town of Antioch? How can you possibly state that Mr. Keller would far exceed positive results based on his dismal 30 year record as a BART director? Are you insinuating that there are some mystery results that he has garnered which have gone unnoticed? If you think a County Supervisor has more to do with BART than an actual BART director, then Joel Keller would be your man...because you have not a clue.
While Mr. Keller is a nice person he has already retired from the county, and now wants to retire from the BART board. It is probably time for the 66 year old to hang it up and enjoy his golden years. With terms being 4 years, our county can not afford a 70 year old supervisor, Just ask Gayle Uilkema!
