Remember when this portion of the shopping center was constructed the potential tenant was going to be Mervyns. As part of a Dayton-Hudson combo shopping center as they owned both Target and Mervyn's at the time.

Pretty soon Amazon, Costco, and Walmart won't have to feature discount pricing because they will be the only thing left. We're destroying business diversity by patronizing these entities. I just hope Rakestraw and Barnes & Noble (Walnut Creek) can hold out. What I really hate is having to drive all the way to Berkeley to find a good music store.

If you are looking for a nice bookstore you should check out read. in Blackhawk Plaza. It is a great store with a very wonderful staff.
