Police don't expect to find foul play in the apparent drowning death of a Pleasanton woman on Sunday. The 61-year-old woman was found at her home in the 6000 block of Garner Court at about 5:30 p.m.

The victim's age is relevant and there should be no implication or connotation associated with that piece of information. It is policy to publish the age of a victim if that information is given by officials -- we would publish the age of a 45 and 23-year-old victim as well -- as well as gender.
