From the Inauguration, posted by Mark Curtis, a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Jan 18, 2009 at 6:46 am

Arlington, Virginia -- Greetings from the Nation's Capitol! We arrived just before 7am eastern time at Dulles Aiport.

It is chilly here, with temperatures in the 20s. We have a lot of work to do today, with getting media credentials and filing some initial reports.

My daughter Allie, a junior at Monte Vista High School, will be doing some reporting, too, for www.GirlAmbition.com.

The flight attendant on the plane announced "Welcome to the Obama Express" and almost everyone laughed or cheered. Just about everyone I asked on the plane was coming specifically for the Inaugural.

I met one of the famed "Tuskegee Airmen" on the flight, and you can find my interview with him at www.MarkCurtisMedia.com.

Also, my book is now on sale at Amazon.com. "Age of Obama: A Reporter's Journey with Clinton, McCain and Obama in the Making of the President 2008" is available by clicking on the following link: Web Link

I will check in later!

Mark
