Diablo Views: Laura had a little lamb

The Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton ends Sunday, July 8, so don't miss this chance to eat funnel cake. Not to mention the demonstrations of non-stick cookware and gardening displays. My favorite is the livestock area with 4-H members busily grooming and feeding their projects.

Dolores,

Stand up! I am applauding! You are marvelous..

Your words painted a picture of 4H and the good things I have enjoyed. Candy Jewett has brought all sorts of animals including her EMU's through Alamo as part of 4H. But your article painted that 4H picture so clearly that your readers could SEE the animals and the people that participate in 4H.

The humor might go, "Laura had a little lamb and the Doctor was surprised." But the celebration is Laura had a little lamb and your words were the real picture of the value of 4H.

Nice work!

Hal
