On this Veteran's Day

Dear neighbors,

Please take a moment today to understand your role in wars past and present. Ask how all people in our country contribute to war and can provoke peace. What actions do we each take beyond the ballot box to set the policy and actions of our governments and our representatives?

I will suggest a goal for your thoughts. Let us commit to not create any more veterans of foreign wars. Let's honor all veterans today with our commitment to our own defense and to pursue peace throughout our world.

Take a moment on this Veteran's Day.
