The authorities should be very prepared for many unofficial fireworks displays with lots of illegal contraband. This is part of our constitutional right to bear and display arms! Your article and tone is VERY unamerican. We are going to light this freakin town up!

Jeff,

Let's hope you will be one of the first arrested since lighting off ILLEGAL fireworks is not a constitutional right, but rather a misdemeanor. Possess enough and it turns into a felony. Contra Costa County has a ZERO tolerance policy.

If you really believe it is your "right", then you can make that argument to a judge instead of blogging behind a keyboard. Good luck with that defense. You might want to have a good bail bondsman lined up!
