Oh Great more empty retail space and rentals.

I wonder if these “developers” would still be as animated and positive if these grand plans were in their backyard. Will any of them be living in these condos?

Take a stroll down the street the strip mall north of this proposed project Trader Joe’s/Post office square and you will find empty retail and food spaces standing empty. Across from Pete’s more available retail spaces, across from Lunardi’s more retail space.

Living three feet from the Iron Horse trail…when I look out my window I see Mount Diablo, the tip of the Danville Hotel façade and trees.. Listening to families laugh whilst walking, children proudly inching by on tricycles the occasional woof of a dog.

I do worry if our decision maker’s are not being honest with us. Just tell us you no longer wish to be the Town of Danville and let’s be the City of Danville like San Ramon, Pleasanton were growth is what the bottom line is. So I ask that our town council go to lunch. I suggest Stacey’s in Waterford Square in Dublin. First good luck finding parking then notice the condominium units and then notice the noise, the view, children/adults satellite dishes all cramped on their assigned patio’s and the shopping carts. In the evening while you are quietly resting at home ask yourself if it’s fair to ask others to give up their views, quiet or comfort so another property investor can build the latest trend in “captured customers”.

I know how Danville Operates as this citizen was left permanently injured by one of the town workers.

My story is coming out as my personal event put my family on welfare, left us homeless and a violent worker still has his job. Yes and I was the victim and somehow the assailant walked from an attempted murder of a resident.

The town council? Give me a break. WHen you see my x-rays online you'll understand just how bad it was but when you see what happeend to my sons you'll cry.
