Falling for Fuzzy Duds
Sports, posted by Editor, Danville Weekly Online, on Jun 12, 2007 at 4:01 pm

They're comfy, colorful, cool and crazy. They're Fuzzy Duds - and they're spreading like wildfire in California. Fuzzy Duds are the creation of a Danville "cowboy," aka Steven Johnson, and kids at Stone Valley Middle School are crazy about them. How about you?

You almost got Steve "Cowboy"'s charm....but the writer forgot to mention the sweet Southern accent thats makes his enthusiastic commentary so endearing and memorable, plus the fact of Steve's size--he probably created his clothes out of the lack of choice for such a tall, broad bod.

May I also add that he has very generously sponsored dozens of Bay Area Bike events with his signature Duds, adding a serious fuzz factor to the fun.

Thank you for publishing the piece. He will be hitting the big time shortly, we hope.

I read your piece about Cowboy and his Fuzzy Duds, it was great to learn about the creation of the product. I first saw them when I came to California to run the Big Sur Marathon in April, all the guys and gals at the Treadmill store in Carmel were wearing them. When I got home to Colorado all I could think about was Fuzzy Duds so I called them to get more info on them, they gave me Cowboys email and now I have been selling Fuzzy Duds in Gunnison Colorado at my fitness center for 2 months and I have sold about 60 pair!! They are really awesome....Thanks Cowboy!!

Our company Novo Express - LAX is delivering a shipment of

Fuzzy Duds to Steven tomorrow and already I'm intrigued by

the story behind the FUZZ. I found this story on the internet

while checking out Fuzzy Dud's website and I'm amazed at what

Steven went through to get where he is now.

I know he'll go even farther and will have to add shirts and

jackets to match due to a high demand!

His American Dream will come true and he'll be able to take care

of his mom thew way he wants very soon I just know it.

Fuzzy Duds are a hit in my family! I met Cowboy a year ago at a local San Ramon storage because my company has a storage unit next to his unit. He showed me a pair of shorts and I fell in love with them. All I have to say is that Cowboy and his fine tuned Fuzzy Duds are AMAZING!

I just read this amazing story about Cowboy and I'm glad that he's making a name for himself! If you don't have a pair of fuzzy duds, then you're missing out!

I met Cowboy while working for 24 Hours of Adrenaline and he is one of the most amazing people i have ever met. Such a great heart and always a positive attitude. I have several pairs of duds and LOVE wearing them. My friends are always jealous and have ordered them as well. I hope he takes over the world, it would be a much happier place.
