The Danville Police Department provides Danville Express with a record of its calls each week. This is a sampling, omitting the more mundane, such as routine traffic stops, service requests, noise complaints and domestic disturbances.

Sounds like an accident just waiting to happen, Chuck!

I think a burglary technically occurs when no one is home, so a burglar would just steal your guns. What you are hoping for is an old fashioned home invasion armed robbery.

I don't think that the comment, "This is a sampling, omitting the more mundane, such as routine traffic stops, service requests, noise complaints and domestic disturbances"is fair. Just reading the blotter as printed would give the impression that the Danville police have alot of time on their hands. I think it's only fair to report the complete blotter and allow the readers the opportunity to see all those things that take up an officers time. It all takes time; it all costs money; it's something the community shoud know and understand.
