Your review of Woody Allen's latest was on-the-mark. The vignettes were shallow, the acting terrible, Allen himself grossly annoying, timing chaotic, and I'd add that there was a distinct absence of ANY chemistry between or among any of the ensemble cast members, many of whom were attached to each other, in one way or another.

Best part about it was that you could pick out the poseurs in the audience by the fact that some of them actually clapped during the credits (apparently in appreciation, but maybe in relief?) -- because, after all, it's Woody Allen!!
