Dear Gina and Jessica,
It seems Dolores' readers want the handful of proactive town square forum commentators to meet for coffee and set ground rules for the town Square forum.
One has to ask if it is misfortune that keeps all of us from meeting face-to-face and simply realizing that we are intelligent individuals quite interested in an effort to achieve your wishful reality, "Town Square will continue to be a thoughtful gathering place for sharing community information and opinion.
Certainly, we do not want, as a group, to drive south to Pleasanton to be out of town and character in our first meeting. More certainly it would be appropriate to enjoy the welcome, open environment of Walnut Creek. But our goal should be face-to-face in open, respectful conversation leading you to a town square forum of your dreams.
So, how many of your sponsored commentators will sign up for a face-to-face?

In good humor this morning, neighborhood e-exchanges have concluded that Informed Resident(s) authors, as your sponsored commentators, do not drink coffee.
What other reason could there be for not wanting to meet other commentators on the Town Square Forum?
