Police release photo of car used in daytime burglary

Pleasanton police have released a photo of the car used by burglars fleeing from a daytime break-in Monday morning and was last seen speeding toward Interstate 680. The attempted burglary was interrupted by the resident and was one of three daytime burglaries that occurred over the last week, with at least two committed by the same team, according to police reports.

Confirmed by Cadillac, the picture is a CTS or STS sedan <5 years old.

well, you guys should tell the various Police Departments involved here. They don't have a clue as they're under a different (published) impression.

Dear Editor,

The information on the Cadillac in the picture was reported to CCC Sheriff because Pleasanton Police dispatcher refused to take the information from a non-resident. It is now understood that the information was sent to Pleasanton Police by CCC Sheriff personnel.
