Wind Symphony performs March 24

The Wind Symphony will play music inspired by works of famous authors. The concert will feature guest artist Denis Winter, a nationally recognized euphonium soloist and resident of Orinda. Ihe program is at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at the Lesher Center for the Arts (1601 Civic Dr., Walnut Creek). Tickets are $6-$22. Call 943-7469 or visit www.lesherartscenter.org.

To clarify: the concert is by the Contra Costa Wind Symphony.
