Former Golden State Warrior Chris Mullin has received a rare honor from the team he made home for 13 years: his jersey, number 17, has been retired by the team. Mullin, a former Blackhawk resident, played for the Warriors from 1985 through 1997, and again from 2000 to 2001.

After three years at De La Salle, Chris Mullin Jr. Made the move back east to Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts for his Senior year. Mullin's dad, is originally from Brooklyn, New York before playing at St. John's University and the majority of his career for the Golden State Warriors. Chris junior is a very good 3 point shooter and could of been helpful this year during the playoff run.
