Violins will perform with Diablo Symphony Feb. 12

On Feb. 12, violinist Karen Shinozaki will perform with the Diablo Symphony in Walnut Creek under the baton of guest conductor Kenneth Raskin, the associate conductor of the Sacramento Philharmonic. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Lesher Center for the Arts (1601 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek), tickets may also be purchased by phone at 943-7469 or online, www.lesherartscenter.com.

The violinist's name is actually Karen Shinozaki Sor, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, the concert begins at 2:00 p.m. this Sunday, not 7:30 p.m.! (This comment submitted by a member of the orchestra.)
