Do you think it's accurate to say people in Danville are fiscally conservative but socially liberal? I've heard this come up a few times at meetings and in casual conversation around town.
School board trustee Joan Buchanan said a couple months ago "I'm fiscally conservative and morally more liberal." Is that the way you see yourself, too?
And what about Alamo folk? Are you different than Danville?

Yeah, I kind of see myself as fiscally conservative , onless it's important for to shell out money on certain things... don;t know if i would klasify myself as socially liberal. i'd say people should be free to make their own choices and learn and respect others who have made other choices... i think diversity is important in seeing a spektrum of things.

In my support of API researchers, focus group interviews throughout USAmerica are showing a shift away from the self-interests of USAmericans during the last 5-6 years and a return to a social conscientiousness. Mostly, according to such focus group research, USAmericans have become concerned for our global reputation and the disparity in quality of life by residents in our own country. As a result, focus of interests for more than 2/3rds of USAmericans is on education, healthcare, jobs programs, aid programs and global responsibility.
USAmericans' focus on money issues have been accelerated by costs of war, Katrina, and more. Unlike true conservatives, USAmericans want money spent effectively, with accountability, to better serve our global role and our nation. With growing deficits and lack of spending controls of the past 5-6 years, USAmericans want fiscal and social accountability for uses of OUR money.

Joan Buchanan (school board trustee) actually leans towards fiscally liberal. She also leans to the extreme left regarding moral issues. It is close to impossible to separate these two points when politicians such as Joan, are spending our tax and school bond money towards often social issues within the education environment. These issues are all connected and the bottom line with Joan; she sees political decisions through the prism of the union causes (CTA, etc.); her number one political financial supporters.
