Flames engulf old Humburg house in Alamo

It wasn't just any house that burned down last week in the Danala Farms neighborhood in Alamo. It was the historic Humburg house, which had been moved to the site some 20 years ago from Orchard Court, where it was built in the 1890s.

I remember the old Home well.Also remember the Jackson home which was set on top of a small hill A few hundred yards away from the Old Humburg house,Surrounded of course by a walnut orchard.Our home across the valley was built by the same builder and architect.Or maybe Just builder in those days.
