Dear neighbors,

Please take time to read the home schooling story thoroughly and reference several background articles and studies being circulated via regional e-exchanges. We have all seen children around us that would profit from options to traditional schools and the primary social pressures and false competition created in those invironments.

What are your thoughts?

I think it is silly to have parents that homeschool their teacher obtain teaching credentials. There are many reasons why the parents choose to do it in the first place. Especially now with all of the new budget cuts. Who wouldn't want to teach their children at home if they had that option/time to commit?

I also think that programs/schools like Venture are awesome for those students that do fit in well with a public/private school setting.
