Former Discovery Center exec pays restitution for embezzlement

Thomas Martin, former executive director of Discovery Counseling Center, has partially repaid the nonprofit as part of an embezzlement plea deal and may get his record wiped clean. This spring, Martin was charged with four felony counts of grand theft embezzlement after spending $162,000 of the center's money between July 2007 and September 2010.

Okay, so let me get this straight....The Discovery Center (my script) donations are embezzeled, the St. Isidore's Church is subject to embezzelment, and my donations years ago to the "performing arts center" north of St Isidore's were also taken by crooks. Bottom line, there are criminals in our neighborhoods that live off of our generous nature. As John Lennon said..."instant karma gonna get you"...give generously but wisely....

I am curious as to why CW doesn't want to know if Thomas Martin is an illegal alien just like he did with the other local businessman convicted last week.
