Dear Dolores,

I am hopeful that Mayor Andersen will deliver a different Danville to our region and end an at-odds relationship with the Diablo Vista (Alamo) neighborhoods. Border raids by the Danville Police, failure to participate in SRV YMCA access, and participation in the parking issues of MVHS are a few of the issues our neighbors have found abusive. As a result, there is a commitment by neighbors not to shop in Danville.

Our neighborhoods are encouraged by Mayor Andersen's inviting commentary and commitments and we wait to see if Danville's government, chamber and organizations can follow-through on better, more cooperative relationships with the Diablo Vista region neighborhoods.

Hal
