Sun Power?
State, National, International, posted by Rick Pshaw, a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Jul 25, 2011 at 6:58 am

The headline in today's newspaper notes that Brown wants California to be powered by the sun's rays. Why not? It's governed by the Moonbeam.

Dear Editor,

Horse manure is the answer.

Recently, scientists revisited the usage of manure in a digester to release methane and further distill into methanol. The result is an abundance of fuel, and its odor, for running cogeneration facilities to create power. The technology has been used in various forms to generate electricity at sewage plants, but scientists believe that USAmerican factions that wish to return to simpler times will be generating horse manure that will be readily available.

Certainly it does answer the issue of horse manure being left unattended in our communities. It would help us avoid the cost of building parking lots just so we could put solar carports over such paving of paradise. I am all for putting our horse power to good use.

Smile
