The students in the beginner West Coast Swing class stepped One, Two, Three and Four, Five and Six. One, Two, Three and Four, Five and Six - while a smooth R&B song played in the background.

Thanks for this interesting, accurate article. I was shy at first at Two Left Feet mostly because of my age (66), but it turned out to be great fun. The men are always polite and even the young ones don't seem to mind dancing with you. I had planned to take just a few lessons, but I've never stopped. Try it yourself!

I have been told there is a restaurant in Danville (off Sycamore Valley Road) that has dancing in the evenings on Fri and Sat but I haven't been able to find it. Alas, I don't remember the name of it........ can anyone help?

Forbes Mill? Piatti's? Those are the ones in the Livery. I think Marcello's on San Ramon Valley Boulevard has dancing; they have a piano bar.
