The following was sent to Congressman Jerry McNerney on April 20, 2011. In that we have yet to receive an answer perhaps someone on the conference call would attempt to secure the information!

Dear Congressman Jerry McNerney,

The below information was sent to me concerning the healthcare bill. I have no idea if they are correct statements or quoted out of context. But in that you voted for the bill I am sure that you are familiar with it. Would you, or your staff, please be so kind as to let us know if these provisions are in fact in the Healthcare Bill as passed. Thanking you in advance......

Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.

Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).

Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax. (What does this mean?)

Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.

Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age.

Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.

Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counseling?)

Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress. (Does it?)

Jerry McNerney continues to be District 11's public enemy #1. This is a congressman who voted to flush nearly 1 trillion taxpayer dollars down the drain. If the economist John Maynard Keynes knew what atrocities are being committed in his name, he would rise up out of his grave in a rage.

McNerney continues to be a supporter of the 2010 health care reform law which is probably the most damaging legislation ever to be passed into law by our elected national officials. Shame on you Jerry McNerney. Your irresponsible voting record speaks for itself. There is nothing you could say in a town hall that would justify your record in Congress.
