Dear neighbors,
Guy Houston has responded to the actions of the Berkeley City Council by suggesting the State remove road funds from the city in response to the council's attempt to evict the Marines.
Some study would find that the issues of the council's actions are not simply political attitudes in the city. There are issues related to recruiting activities that caused segments of the community to bring the Marines to the council's attention. Rather than typical retaliatory politics, I would suggest Guy use his exceptional concensus-building and work with his counterparts in Berkeley and the region to resolve issues among the community, council and Marines.
Mediation, and not retaliation, resolves issues. Such consensus-building will demonstrate why Guy Houston should be our next supervisor among district voters that are moderating toward more humanity in politics.

Good logic, except for the fact that Guy choose to retaliate instead of mediate. Since he DID NOT choose consensus-building, how can one say this is moderating toward more humanity?
Take a falsehood, twist it out of the realm of reality, and you have built a strong case. But it's built on air...

Guy WILL demonstrate his consensus-building and only suggested the removal of road funds. Guy, you and I know that our State Assembly would not pursue such retaliation.
"Good Logic" is a remarkable oxymoron because logic is logic and it has no definition of good or bad.

Dear neighbors,
I am dissappointed in all participants in the Berkeley council decision and reactions. Let's thank Dolores for her review and let our Federal and State representatives know that resolution is not created by political retaliation.
Berkeley is our neighbor and we must support appropriate resolution of the issues between the Marines and Berkeley.
