School Office Protocol

My daughter attends Diablo Vista Middle school and I am very happy with this school in general. I have had to stop in the office several times for various reasons and my experience with office staff is that they are always rude and unattentive. Is it too much to ask their office manager, to respond to a question?

I just wondered if she was having a bad day, or if she treats everyone like they do not deserve her time. With all of the budget and staff cuts you would think she would appreciate their job. Apparently not. Are these staffers that overworked?
