On Bill Baker,
Bill's Baker's blasting Jerry McNerney is typical for the neocons that are about to have their reign come to an end. Congressman McNerney wants out troops out of Iraq with a timetable. This is good, but not good enough. We have no business there and should leave now. To expand Bill Baker's thinking maybe he should look at Ron Paul 2008, or just continue sinking our country in debt until it is bankrupt.

WASHINGTON - A study by two nonprofit journalism organizations found that President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks. The study concluded that the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."
The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.

Dear Ron and neighbors,
Within Iraq, the enemies among the tribes of Iraq will never stop their civil war and no manner of world police with change that effort with any concept of Democracy. Iraq has only one enemy and it is itself.
Our invasion was based on LIES, our efforts only succeed when we buy the support of one or more tribal leaders, and our success in any endeavor within Iraq is impossible. We are wasting the time, talent and lives of your dedicated service personnel and erasing our status as a global partner in economy, community and humanity.
The humor of your oxymoron, Ron, is greatly appreciated because it expresses the obvious ignorance that allowed a liar to take us to WAR.

Rich humor, Ron, for our neighbors because it asks each to define the enemy you reference.
Certainly for a majority in the United States, our current President and administration has made us an unwilling enemy of much of the world economically, culturally and violently. More important is your humor points to ourselves being our own worst enemy in defining any future role in global economy, community and humanity. Your humor most appreciated is the concept that we have any role in being an enemy in Iraq's civil war.
Thank you for the warm laughter create by your excellent oxymoron.

Joyous humor, Ron, as we avoid the obvious and extend the oxymorons.
Within the tribes that are in civil conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan there are no generals or enemies. Much like street gangs, there is only turf and those "others" that are not considered to belong on such turf.
Such an oxymoron celebrates John Lennon's words, "Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see."
