Based on my ex-brother-in-law's experience (he may have richly deserved it), be glad they're not roaring down your street at midnight, with the lights and sirens on, the night before the statute of limitations runs, to haul you away in handcuffs, in front of your kids.

Treebeard. Sorry to have potentially clogged things up. This was my first posting and I was nor sure if posting under different categories might enable a different group to see my comment/question. Thank you for informing me of my error. Now I know correct conduct.

Kate brings up a good point. The person posting the first comment or discussion item on a topic has to select the category for it. However, I don't know of anyone who browses the forum by category - most folks just choose to display all categories and read only the posts that interest them, so why have a category choice in the first place?
While I'm on this topic, I also don't know why a person has to make a choice of Neighborhood or School Community. What difference does that make? Will a Blackhawk poster receive less credibility than one from Danville or from Los Cerros Middle School?

Kate ~ may or may not be related. But on the 8th while dropping my son off at work in BH Plaza 2 sheriffs & 3 Danville PD were heading out that direction lights, sirens etc. I turned around just to make sure nothing was going on in the plaza for my sonís safety. Unable to find them my nephew said he has a scanner on his Iphone. He turned it on and we were able to follow the call. On Blackhawk Drive the authorities were trying to serve a warrant(s). They completely had the house surrounded. We were able to follow the call for about 30 minutes. Sounded like warrants were served but no arrests made. Maybe that's where the FBI came in 4 days later??? Needles to say it was very interesting to know you can follow police calls on an Iphone with this particular app. I did also look in the paper for the next few days and did not see any mention of the call. Kind of scary you never know who is living just down the street.

Driving down Sycamore Valley Rd. and Camino Tassajara right after the high schoolers are out from school can be pretty scary. You've got a bunch of crazy teen drivers!! We need to have the police monitor that stretch of road between 3:30 and 4 pm. Has anybody else witnessed this?
