Dueling Pianos: Not your parents' piano bar
Around Town, posted by Editor, Danville Weekly Online, on Dec 23, 2010 at 6:52 pm

It's a Thursday night in downtown Danville and That Bar is packed. There's a line outside. This is not your typical piano bar, with a guy in a tux tinkling out "Misty" or other classics from the 50s and 60s. These are two rowdy, raucous and occasionally bawdy players slamming some serious ivory.

I met the ladies at the Chamber golf event in July. I am very happy for the successful launch of That Bar!

Dear Jessica,

After all it is Danville.

We should expect dueling tubas and cow dancing, right?

One of the best times I have had in a long time! It was so nice to see all ages singing along with the dueling pianos and not giving a hoot about what anybody thought of them and just letting yourself be you! Brought back so many good times in my life and look forward to enjoying many more good times to come by visiting "That Bar!" You have a gold mine there girls and keep it up and don't change a thing.

Great story! Two of the top performers in the whole country. I'll be there in February for my first time and I am looking forward to it immensely.
