Thieves ruining Halloween fun
Crimes & Incidents, posted by SW, a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Oct 29, 2010 at 11:12 am

Halloween thieves in Danville ruin our kids fun!.. Has anyone else reported people stealing decorations? We live near the HS and had a few of our large Halloween decorations stolen this week, our kids are very upset....they stole our bat, graveyard and skull spiders!

I also think that grown adults vandalising and stealing political signs is disgusting. Shame, shame shame!

there have been so many that have been toppled down and trashed... a total disgrace!

Since it was probably devious kids stealing the Halloween decorations, I hope that their parents make a point of turning them in; because if you don’t, & your Danville reputation is more important than teaching your child a lesson, I guarantee you that your child will only get worse!

Which high school are you referring to?

I also noticed a number of light fixtures (at a few different houses), that were supposed to be lighting the path to the front door had been trampled upon, and therefore NOT lighting the path anymore.

The kids need to be taught to be more respectful of private property, especially since they are asking for a handout!
