Danville man among elite runners in Bay to Breakers

One of the few American elite runners in tomorrow's Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco will be rookie Scotty Bauhs, a Danville native who holds the world record for the youngest person ever to run a mile in less than four minutes and a 10,000-meter race in less than 28 minutes.

Scotty finished in 6th place, first American male and first runner who does not consider the African continent home.

How is he a ROOKIE, if he is a World record holder ????

Get your reporting straight, for my knowledge tells me that he has been "Long Distance " runner for quite some time.
