A 'Grande' celebration

Vista Grande Elementary School held an assembly Friday to commemorate the receipt of the California Distinguished School Award, as well as honor five retiring teachers. Following the musical assembly, teachers were treated to a limo ride and lunch.

Correction: Her name is Bonnie Kohleriter, not Barbara. She's the best science teacher in the state!
