Here's what is great about this: teachers are out fundraising for the programs they benefit from everyday in their classrooms. The teachers at our neighborhood school reap the fruits of labor from the parents and don't want to be bothered with anything like this. It's very disappointing.

What a fun idea. When I was little, it was always fun to see a teacher outside of the classroom. If I were a kid or a parent, I would have gone to this event just to donate money... What a fun program.
Keep it up teachers, your innovation is what will guide us into a new era of education in hard times.

I think that some of the people commenting may be overlooking what is happening here. The Principal and Instructors from a major school in Danville, in addition to all the time, energy and commitment to their students set aside time out of their personal, not working time, to go beyond what is required by their job description to raise more money in this time of cut backs to raise money for the education of their students.
