One way to save DETROIT?
State, National, International, posted by CDSI Research, a resident of another community, on Mar 9, 2010 at 5:22 pm

Dear Dolores,

REF: Web Link

We have had fingers in chili at fast food restaurants, too-hot coffee too. The many individuals that try to cash-in on corporations are numerous.

What if I took any car and went out on the road. I could run wildly down the freeway, quite safely, and call 911 the my car won't slow down.

We should be able to be more creative than that, don't you think?

We could start driving in circles at Alamo Plaza and claim our steering wheel STUCK. We could back up through town because we could claim all gears are reverse. We could claim the radio would not turn down so we lost our hearing.

Does Detroit need to destroy the global auto industry just to survive?

Interesting question,

Hal/CDSI

Dear Dolores,

As a journalist you might enjoy the various commentary to UAW members at NUMMI motors by UAW leaders that invite members to find something wrong with Toyota cars and trucks as a result of the closing of the Fremont plant.

You might have to go to global news services to find such reporting because politics has a great deal to do with the current Toyota quality problems.
