Neighbors in the Iron Horse Corridor and East County continue to monitor various public communication by Mount Diablo Region YMCA Board and Members on Facebook, Twitter and in e-communication with governments, districts, economic councils, corporations and various state and local politicians. It becomes clear that the remaining board members, YMCA of the USA and BAYMCA are attempting to gain public and corporate funds to rebuild availability of donated funds intended for construction of YMCA commercial facilities in East County and Alamo. What remains absent to public review is the accounting for the original donations intended for such construction.
Resources of Diablo Vista (Alamo) region neighborhoods for discovery of such new contributions and loan guarantees have produced knowledge of the governments, districts, economic councils and corporate personnel involved in this closed-door effort. Dolores, like other editors in Contra Costa County District III communities, it is now your job to gain full disclosure of the actions by such a political aggregation, the exact cause of the YMCA crisis, the uses of facilities donations, and the resulting plans going forward.
It is time that the public, especially donors, know the reality of MDR YMCA actions.
