Burglar breaks into liquor store with car

A burglar went for overkill yesterday morning when he backed his car through the plate glass storefront of Market Place Liquors then proceeded to take cash and flee on Bollinger Canyon Road toward the freeway.

Andre Braugher, as detective Pembleton on Homicide: Life on the Street, used to ponder the chicken and egg question- does crime make you stupid, or do you have to be a moron to engage in this type of activity to begin with? Personally, I'm going with the latter. I just hope this wetbrain didn't mess up the windows on my favorite cheap sushi place next door. More overflow from Richmond?
