Sharpies, mat board and a glue stick. The art students at Los Cerros Middle School are hoping the cute little houses created with these supplies will add up to dollars for the Haitians to build new homes. The miniature houses were designed to be worn, with pins on the back, and are being sold for $5 each.

I think these are beautiful! I'll bet even realtors/developers etc. would be interested in buying some of these - it says so much about our community that these wonderful kids care so much about people so far away! If they wear them, they have an opportunity to express to tell the story.
San Ramon Valley High School also held a fundraiser on Wednesday night - "Help for Haiti". Kids from all the performing arts programs performed and did an incredible job - it was one of the best entertainment evenings I have had in years!!! They also sold t-shirts.
