Half of Bay Area children have one immigrant parent

A report released today by an immigrant advocacy group examines the contributions of immigrants to California and its regions, including the Bay Area where 30 percent of residents in Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda and San Mateo counties are immigrants, compared to 27 percent statewide.

One might say they "contribute labor." some may say they take jobs and lower wages. LEGAL immigrants contribute a lot to our economy. Illegals are a huge net drain. Your article has been torn apart by Lou Dobbs for five years now. Get a new line you propagandistic hooligans

Um. Dobbs also gives credence to birthers.

No he didn't. He got mad out of principle that people were intimidating him saying if he even brought it up, even to discredit the birthers, he would be fired. Out of principle he told them not to tell him what he can or can't mention. Sure enough he was fired

while I think the birther movement is inane, and I myself voted for Obama, I do find it peculiar that libs wouldn't even allow the birthers to state their case to be ridiculed. The libs were so afraid of it even being talked about, which is never a good sign. Anywho, I don't know what all happened there, but Dobbs is not a birther and neither am I
