I was not aware of John's death until I read Alamo Today, October 2009 issue, Paqe 26.

John Henderson, like so many primary contributors to the AIA, set the bar for community in Alamo and courtesy among neighbors. John left many talented AIA board and committee members to carry on the importance of independent community relations and advisory with governments in our region including Contra Costa County departments and district 3.

I would hope that John's family will understand the celebration of John's very personal contribution to Alamo and our region by neighborhoods. Many neighbors are now voicing applause among the e-exchanges.
