I found Kennedy's reference to illegal aliens shocking. Really? Undocumented AMERICANS??? How can that be? They are not here legally, nor are they Americans. They are BREAKING THE LAW....and we reward them by allowing them to drain all of our resources. They are draining our AMERICAN tax dollars by being in our public schools, getting our tax dollars to go to our public colleges, getting free medical care and free or reduced cost housing, even free transportation to the job they are working at illegally, not to mention that they are not paying taxes!! If I don't pay taxes, then I go to jail, have my assets seized, etc.
At a time when so many AMERICANS are out of work because either we have too many imigrants (legal or illegal), and all of our industry is being outsourced over seas, there needs to be some consideration of our economic situation & budget constraints before ignoring our immigration laws already in place, and perhaps considering some tightening some of those, as well as renewing American industry and adding incentives to those that hire Americans in America. Instead we tax them to the point of extinction, & then we wonder why we are in this mess. We are losing our jobs, homes & going bankrupt. No bailout/handout for us though! We are lucky if we can even get through to the Unemployment Office, and when we get through don't hold your breath waiting for a check. The banks got all of our tax dollars and now are foreclosing on people like nobody's business. They want to raise our taxes to pay for National Healthcare when if they just stopped paying for illegal aliens healthcare...a lot of money would be freed up to pay for that program...if we even want that. Government isn't doing such a great job of managing our country...I don't really want them to have anything to do with my healthcare.
If we go to another country to live/work we would not be afforded these same benefits. Other countries require you to prove that you will not be taking a job from a citizen before you can stay..and that is if you go there legally..think of what may happen if we were to go to another country illegally? Do you think they would roll out the red carpet of benefits for us?? Not likely!! We have a process for obtaining citizenship, if someone chooses to break the law and forego that process, then deport them. If we break the law, we pay the consequences. Heck, if I use a cell phone without a bluetooth then I get a ticket and a fine...not a free cell phone. Why have laws if they aren't going to enforce them? And what's the deterrent for breaking those laws? Shoot, too bad I am a citizen, I could have so many more privileges if I weren't!

So Shimansky got to talk to Boxer, Feinstein, and Billary.
I call that a three-time loser.
