Applause Gina,

Some 21 years ago, when we moved to Alamo from Menlo Park, I was told, "The Contra Costa Newspapers make good citizens of us all because we have to be THERE to know what really is going on." Currently, Jeanine Benca covers our Region for CCN and does thorough research that does not become part of her stories after the editors have their way.

More clearly, simply reviewing the Danville Times, as your CCN competition, allows readers to fully understand the lack of CCN news content. CCN remains the gatekeeper for Contra Costa aggregated politics and the provider of well-manicured news releases that are less than informative.

Thank you,

Hal
