Houston is in Texas and the Alamo is in Texas. So if Houston moved to Alamo he could save us a bunch of "Texas."

Sounds right...

Thank you Ron,

On my desk I have a postcard from Alamo Texas, near the end of the Rio Grande, that was produced by a pal from All things Alamo & Pop(u)lar e-exchange. Guy would not fit the nature of Houston or Alamo Texas because it would be difficult for any individual raised in our Iron Horse Corridor to break out of that culture and be welcomed in any other locale including Texas.

The alamoron, quite humorous, of using Texas as TAXES is appropriate. Our current fiscal mess, from eight too-long years of a Connecticut-born TEXAN does make TEXAS simply mean TAXES.

Clever, Ron, Thanks

One HAL of a Pal
