I'm sorry but I've seen this time and time again. If an attack occurred at teh game, whether terrorists or more likely, a couple of hoodlums, the Sheehan's would most likely to be the first to sue the Niner's for not protecting them. You don't have to give up your right to privacy. You just don't buy the tickets and watch the game on television or pick another sport. May I recommend indoor football such as the "Sabercats". Its fun and they don't pat down.

With all of the viable lawsuits out there, you'd think these people could come up with something better to waste tax payers dollars with.

And Joe- you're right. God forbid someone accidentally stabbed one of the Sheehans at the game. Look out Niners!

If the ACLU wins this one, not only will the Sheehans get their wish, but nobody else will be able to watch the 9ers on TV. The games won't sell out, because no non-thug wants to die at a football game. If the games don't sell out, no local TV. Thanks for spoiling something else, stupid hippies! I think that the sheehans are probably soccer apologists that want to ruin NFL football because

Going to a football game is not a right, it is a privilege. You have the choice to go to the game and get patted down, or stay home. You have the choice. If it is too bothersome, get a clear card, or institute something like it. I would hope that the Sheehans would just stay home. I don't think I would want to sit anywhere near them.

NFL football is one of the last enterprises unspoiled by our overly-litigious society. Please leave us alone. Keep your laws off of my sport!

So unreal! It's people like the Sheehans give Danville a bad rep! Wasting everybody's time and money....They don't have to go to the niners game, and I think the security of the other 70,000 fans is more important than any perceived violation of their privacy. They and the ambulance chasing lawyer working for them should be held accountable for all legal costs wasted on this travesty.
