Stacey showed us all how to live in the moment with laughter and wisdom. she should be an example for all women young and old.

she was the most intellectual woman i've ever known, but her head did not over-rule her heart. she could keep a secret and she was a powerful activist who helped other women learn to be pro-active while living with a chronic disease.

i never heard her complain after years of chemo therapy follow by a ruthless gobbling up of a beautiful body. it would have beaten most any other woman down. she not only showed her friends how to live well, but how to pass on with dignity and honor.

a world without her will be a lonely one.

Many of us met Stacey at the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance conference in San Francisco and she left a lasting impression. To her friends and family I can only say I send my thanks for sharing her with us. We will not forget her.
